Spencer Chan received his B.A. in jazz piano performance from San Jose State University. He has performed at the Montreaux and Monterey Jazz Festivals and worked with a wide variety of artists including Bobby McFerrin and Jazzmouth, Dan Zinn, and Randy Masters. Currently he performs with the Aqua Velvets, a modern surf band from San Francisco, and Los Hermanos, a rock band including his two younger brothers. In addition to his free-lance playing, Spencer teaches privately.
